how it works: everything is by text. send links (and photos) all month; on the 1st you get your magazine's list and approve it with one reply. nothing prints without your ok.
size: every magazine is at least 96 pages (short months pad out with ruled notes pages), printed at 8.5×11. past 96 it grows into a thick edition — +$9 past 96 pages, +$19 past 192, up to 320 — and you can trim at review to stay under.
what can go in: open-web articles, subscriber-only pieces you already have access to (via the offprint shortcut on your phone), x posts (text the link; threads via the shortcut), pdfs (text a link, or share files via the shortcut), and your photos — they become collage pages.
the object: full color throughout on coated stock, gloss cover, your name printed on it. no digital edition — paper is the point.
quality: a human reviews every magazine's formatting before it prints.
